_How-to Plaster an Earthbench

Plastering is the most important part of building an Earthbench. It can also be the most challenging. Without a properly mixed and applied plaster, your Earthbench will erode over time. My highest recommendation is to build a roof for your Earthbench - this will protect the plaster and the bench for decades to come. If building a roof is not possible, I recommend either a conventional lime plaster or a natural plaster with multiple coats of linseed oil. For any option, I highly recommend you consult a natural builder for their expertise.
